Benjamin Bauman
Haim Sheinmann - the son of the Rabbi that wants power over everything.
Benjamin Bauman studies at The Michael Chekhov Acting Studio in New York City with Lenard Petit. One of the World's leading masters and innovators of the Chekhov Technique, Lenard's classes help the American actor to free him or herself from the constraints of the common analytical approaches to performance and use a more imaginative and spiritual process in creating character, rhythm, and atmosphere.
Benjamin has appeared in numerous theater and film productions.
Most recently, Ben played ‘Victor Flemming’ in Moonlight and Magnolias way up in the boons of New York State at Cortland Repertory Theater.
Ben can be seen in Mira Nair’s upcoming film The Namesake. Unlike in Goyband, Ben Plays a WASP with no particular aspirations in becoming Rabbi.
Look out for Cypher Production’s Last Night in Brooklyn, a gangsta flick complete with guns, love and, of course, lots of running from the Mob, where Benjamin stars as ‘Daniel “Diggs” Iggins’.
Benjamin, who hails from the small town of Jenkintown, PA, has been a resident of the Lower East Side of Manhattan for over 10 years. Be a mensch, come down and eat some pickles!
