Petition to book Adam Pascal in Florida.
The Undersigned (and Monica Ordoñez)

To: Student Programming Council of Florida International University
The purpose of this petition is to gather names for proof that the community of Miami/South Florida and students of Florida International University would like to see Adam Pascal perform live as part of his 2007-2008 college tour. I believe bringing an accomplished Broadway/Hollywood performer would be an excellent outlet for expanding cultural awareness in South Florida.

In 1996, at the suggestion of a friend, Adam auditioned for the small off-Broadway production of RENT. Originating the role of Roger Davis, Adam became a part of what was to become the definitive hit of the decade. Pascal earned a Tony-Award nomination for Best Leading Actor in a Musical, as well as a Theater World Award for originating the role of Roger in RENT.

In 2000, Broadway came calling again in the form of Elton John and Time Rice's AIDA. Adam was cast in the lead as Radames and critics heralded his performance. He won a Drama League Award for his performance as Radames.

Shortly after the opening of AIDA, Adam released his debut solo CD Model Prisoner on Sh-K-Boom Records. Produced by the Grammy-winning Joel Moss, critics heralded Model Prisoner as "a modern rock masterpiece." Adam's follow up to the album, Civilian, was released in November 2004. Civilian journeys through the past few years of Pascal's personal life in a time when the nation was facing unprecedented tragedy from September 11th and the effects of violence at home and abroad. In addition, Adam was also seen as the final Emcee in the Tony-Award Winning Broadway revival of CABARET.

In 2005, Adam returned to his musical theater roots with his portrayal of Roger Davis in the motion picture of RENT, directed by Chris Columbus.

Recently Adam worked on an independent film called “Goyband” and has been touring the country playing colleges and showcasing a mix of the music from his albums, new music, and some of his personal interpretations of Broadway songs.

Sincerely,
